By using this website or booking a service, you agree to these terms.

1. Who We Are

Velamour connects you with amazing creative professionals across WA — from makeup artists and hairstylists to photographers, stylists, and models — for events, branding shoots, campaigns, and more.

2. How Bookings Work

• You send a request via our website.

• We match you with available creatives and send a quote.

• You confirm by paying the deposit (this locks in your booking).

• We send you a confirmation email with all the details.

Tip: All comms should stay on our platform to protect your booking.

3. Payments & Fees

• Bookings require a non-refundable deposit.

• Full payment may be due before or on the day, depending on the provider.

• Extra charges (like travel, tolls, or parking) may apply.

• Missed payments or last-minute changes may cancel your booking with no refund.

4. Cancellations

• More than 7 days’ notice: Full refund (minus admin fee).

• Less than 7 days: 50% refund.

• Less than 48 hours: No refund.
  If your provider cancels, we’ll do our best to find a replacement or refund you.

5. Your Rights

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have the right to:

• Quality services delivered with care.

• Transparent pricing and communication.

• A fair resolution if something goes wrong.

6. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate info (event date, time, contact details).

• Ensure the location is safe, clean, and accessible.

• Treat providers and staff with respect — no abuse, harassment, or intoxication.

7. Disputes & Issues

If there's a problem:

• Speak to the provider first, kindly and directly.

• Can’t resolve it? Contact us within 48 hours.

• We may not issue full refunds if a provider has already been paid, but we’ll work with you to find a fair outcome.

8. What Velamour Isn’t

We’re a booking platform, not the service provider. Creatives work as independent contractors, so:

• We’re not liable for their work or behaviour.

• They’re responsible for their own insurance, safety, and legal compliance.

9. Privacy & Safety

• We collect your personal info to manage bookings — and we keep it safe.

• We never sell your data.

10. Content & Copyright

• You can’t copy or reuse our content without permission.

• If we ask to share your event photos, you can say yes or no.

• Want full image rights? Arrange that with your creative directly.

11. Legal Stuff

• These terms are governed by WA and Commonwealth law.

• If there's a dispute, we’ll try to resolve it with you before any legal steps.

• Velamour isn’t liable for things beyond our control (e.g. weather, illness, or tech issues).
